Well, there aree NO plastic scabbards like all my other Cutluxe knives have and that is unfortunate since these knives in particular need a sheath when not in use.
Initial impression is that knives are very well constructed; first use reinforced. Cut through tri-tip like butter.
I use it to de-bone and cut up a hog I butchered and it worked great. It stayed sharp and was a very fair price knife.
The boning knife is well balanced and came really sharp. Great value fir such a quality tool.
I'm not a skilled butcher by any means, but using this blade to cut up a ham has been close to miraculous so smooth. Is comfortable in my hands and cutseeffortlessly. My wife hasn't damaged the edge yet, so I guess it'll hold up well.

Yhe set has not been used because it is a Christmas present for my wife. However, when I received an electric Pit Boss Pellet Smoker, from her, for my birthday, I purchased a slicing knife and a boning knife which I absolutely love! They make slicing turkey and brisket a breeze. The boning knife is great trimming briskets and cutting up baby backs, for serving. I highly recommend these knives. Quality!
I haven’t used these knives yet but I love how sturdy they are. I can’t imaging slipping with one of these!
