Excellent quality razor sharp nice heavy handles quality steel very pleased will buy more in the future but again you need to change your wood magnet holder I got one that was defective and didn't have a place to screw it into is just a drilled hole poorly and then the second one I put the knives on it and they literally just slide down and scratch the wood they're very poor quality please go with the one that I'm trying to tell you to buy which I purchased before in Texas they're only $32 there twice as big and much better quality and the magnet is extremely strong on both sides

I love the weight of the handle it's extremely comfortable and definitely nice good heavy weight and razor sharp blades I have bought many of these from Amazon and they're all garbage if you can imagine a tube of ground round hamburger and none of these knives wood cut through it yours or razor sharp I could literally cut paper and that's a true sharp knife all the knives I bought from you is are amazing and I will buy others I ordered another set from this other company and they are terrible they won't even cut my skin it's pathetic your product is amazing but again I've sent you pictures of the ones you should be selling that are top quality they retail on Amazon for only $32 there twice the size so they set a whole set of knives on either side and the magnet is actually strong unlike the one you're selling I would stop selling that that is a very poor quality product and it doesn't make you look good when you sell such excellent knive and such a poor magnet board I would definitely dump that company and go with the one of the pictures that I sent you it's top quality and literally you have to grab them to pull them off yours literally you put the knife on and it falls off and scratches the wood so anyways thank you so much I'm extremely pleased and I plan on buying more knives from you in the future a whole set and I wish you would sell the magnetic board that I sent you thank you I couldn't be happier with your product

In Dec/25, I ordered the 5" Santoku for myself. I love it SO much, I bought 2 others for gifts. 1) The knife is well weighted, comfortable to hold, easy to use, sharp, sharp, sharp and beautiful to look at. 2) I know the recipients will love their Santoku as much as I love mine. 3) The packaging of the knife is amazing which is important if you are giving it as a gift. What do I actually use each knife for?

The 5″ cheese knife is your main tool: its serrated, hollow blade slices through everything from soft brie to firmer cheddar, and the pronged tip lets you lift and plate each slice without using your fingers or hunting for a fork. It's the piece you'll reach for first. The 3.5″ slicer is the finishing tool — a smaller, smooth blade for even, controlled portions on softer and semi-hard cheeses where you want clean, uniform slices. Together they cover a full board, from the first wedge to the last shaving.

Why does the blade have holes in it?

The cut-outs — the "hollow" blade — solve the biggest annoyance with cheese knives: soft cheese sticking to the steel. By reducing how much surface touches the cheese, the holes let each slice release cleanly instead of gumming up and dragging. It's the same principle as the granton edge on a chef or brisket knife: less contact, less sticking, cleaner cuts. Combined with the serrated edge, you can move from creamy brie to crumbly aged cheddar without stopping to wipe the blade between slices.

Do I really need both pieces — don't they do the same thing?

They overlap less than they look like they might. The 5″ pronged knife is built for cutting and serving — its serrated edge handles the widest range of cheeses, and the forked tip plates the slice. If you only ever bought one piece, this is the one to get. The 3.5″ slicer is smaller and smooth-bladed, made for even, tidy portions on softer cheeses where a serrated edge can tear. Think of the knife as the workhorse and the slicer as the finishing touch. If you'd rather start with a single, the standalone 5″ Cheese Knife is also available.

How do I care for the set?

Hand-wash both blades and dry them right away — skip the dishwasher, which dulls edges and dries out the Pakkawood handles over time. A quick rinse after serving is usually all a cheese knife needs, since it isn't doing heavy cutting. Store them where the edges won't knock against other blades — a magnetic strip, a knife roll, or a drawer tray all work. Just what I was looking for. My Chinese clever did the job but it wasn’t easy to sharpen and the handle was a little awkward. The Cutlux was not to heavy has good balance and was easy to sharpen.

Does not hold that many knives when set on the refrigerator, starts to slide down after 4 knives have been placed onnit. Also scratches the refrigerator surface when it slides down
