Before my very first purchase of a Cutluxe knife, I was very skeptical. I wasn't sure of the quality, the ability to hold an edge, and the true feel in my hand. So, last year I purchased the carving set way before our upcoming Thanksgiving dinner. I figured if the set didn't hold up to my needs and expectations, then I could return it with plenty of time to find something else. Today I have 15 Cutluxe knives in my set. I love the feel in my hands, the weight and balance of each knife, and how they hold an edge. For the price, these are the best knives on the market. Buyer Alert: If you purchase your Cutluxe knives individually like I have, be aware that Cutluxe does not offer a butcher block as an optional item; you have to buy a full set of knives that come with the block. Also, I tried their magnetic block, and immediately returned it. It was more annoying to deal with than its worth.

GREAT KNIVES !!!! I've been a Chef for over 45 years, and at my home I have an extensive knife selection, Well when these knives arrived I was very Pleasantly surprised. They are the real deal, and Man are they Sharp. I love the Sharpening Steel too, it's a game changer. I've only had them 2 weeks, but I put them right to work and they delivered.
